Our products are used in various fields such as the quality control of welded structures (Non-Destructive Testing) as well as on the security market (assessing suspicious objects). Teledyne ICM is now the world leader in these two niche markets and on an annual basis records an ever-increasing rate of growth. The 49 employees currently working at Teledyne ICM collaborate closely together to achieve an annual turnover of 11 million Euros.

On the back of a portfolio that exceeds 30 different products, including the now well-known SITEX and SITEX CP ranges mainly used for the testing of welds, as well as the security detectors FLATSCAN for the control of suspicious objects, we at Teledyne ICM continue to grow year upon year.     Context

    Teledyne ICM’s Research and Development department currently includes a dozen people, engineers, technicians and drafters. It is a multidisciplinary team, bringing together skills in electronics, mechanics, physics, high voltage or software development. Based on specifications drawn up in close collaboration with the sales department, the R&D team designs, develops, validates and industrializes innovative products which allow Teledyne ICM to play the leading roles in its markets. As part of the growth of our activities, we are looking for a new R&D engineer.

    Your job

    After a training phase specific to our products and techniques, provided by the technical director as well as other R&D engineers, you will take responsibility for the following tasks:

    • definition of the specifications for new products in collaboration with the sales department
    • development of a project schedule
    • feasibility study of the possible innovative solutions
    • development, tuning, and validation of prototypes
    • production of manufacturing files
    • technical follow-up of the developed product in collaboration with production and after-sales service.

    Essential skills

    • master degree in engineering (or equivalent)
    • successful experience in R&D project management
    • proven ability to analyze and solve technical problems
    • skills in digital, analog, and power electronics
    • fluent in French and English
    • passionate for technologies and their practical applications
    • willing to learn new skills
    • meticulous, autonomous, sociable, and committed

    Desirable skills

    • skills in electromagnetic compatibility
    • experience in X-rays

    Your job

    • analysis, development, documentation, test, and maintenance of different software products related to X-ray generators and detectors, both embedded and platform based
    • technical support to manufacturing, sales, and after-sales departments
    • technological watch in the different fields of interest

    Essential skills

    • master degree in engineering (or equivalent)
    • successful experience in embedded software programming (C, C++)
    • proven ability to analyze and solve technical problems
    • fluent in French and English
    • passionate for technologies and their practical applications
    • willing to learn new skills
